Parents and community members are invited to support student success through meaningful service and leadership opportunities on the Governing Board of C.S. Lewis Academy. Parents and guardians who are interested in serving on the Governing Board of C.S. Lewis Academy are encouraged to participate in the school community and may apply for board service when vacancies occur. Board membership shall be filled in accordance with the school’s adopted bylaws, policies, and all applicable provisions of Utah law governing charter schools and nonprofit corporations. Interested individuals may submit a letter of interest, resume, or other application materials as requested by the Board of Trustees. Selection and appointment of board members shall be based on the needs of the school, the qualifications of the applicant, and the Board’s obligation to maintain effective governance and compliance with applicable law. Service on the Board is voluntary unless otherwise approved by the Board and must be carried out in accordance with the school’s conflict of interest, confidentiality, ethics, and fiduciary duty requirements.
